1 - View: By default, only documents needed from the Client (Beneficial Owner) are displayed. Toggle to All to view all missing documents.

2 - View By: Change the grouping of documents from the default of Beneficial Owner to Market/Account, Market/Beneficial Owner, Account Number or Investor (this option is available to users who have permission to view investor data).

3 - Download: Export to Excel either the list of missing documents per Beneficial Owner or corresponding transactions. Details of both reports can be found below.

4 - Beneficial Owner: The end-recipient of cross-border investment income and associated tax entitlements.

Note: Depending on the grouping selected in 'View By', the following columns may be displayed:

Market: The country of investment in which the security’s issuer is registered.

Custodian: The financial institution at which the account is held.

Account Number: The account number associated with the custodian.

5 - Estimated Reclaim Value: An estimate of tax reclaim entitlements based upon information provided to GlobeTax.

6 - Responsible Party: Specifies the responsible party for supplying the outstanding document, which may be the beneficial owner, underlying beneficial owner, custodian, or tax authority.

7 - Number of Days in Outstanding Status: The time elapsed since GlobeTax initially requested a given document.

  • The Documents Report contains all outstanding documents grouped by beneficial owner and account number. It is an Excel export of the data displayed within the Manage Documents screen.

  • The Transactions Report contains all reclaim transactions with missing documents based on the selection criteria on the Manage Documents screen.

  • Beneficial Owner Name: displays the ultimate beneficial owner, which may be an investor or partner within a fund.

  • Fund Name: if the beneficial owner is an investor or partner within a fund, then the fund name will be shown. If the Beneficial Owner Name and Fund Name are the same, then the associated documents are missing at the Fund level.

  • Estimated Reclaim Value: this number shows the reclaim value for all transactions which are missing Client documents. If the View is changed to All on the site, then the reclaim amount will include transactions where Tax Authority and Financial Institution documents are missing.

Estimated reclaim values are subject to change pending provision of additional information and documentation. An estimated reclaim of $0.00 is due to missing underlying client data.
